I love to create weird, wonderful, mystical and magical worlds in sound. Using my voice, a plethora of soundmorphing electronic devices and all of the interesting, strange and mundane sounds I record that I transform into something unrecognisable. These sounds I use as “sonic paint” to build multilayered artworks of the unspeakable.
I value beauty, uniqueness, craftsmanship and exquisite elaborate details. The sonic artworks I create are inspired by the curled-up mysteries of our nervous system, fractal dimensions and nature, and I wish to inspire and to evoke a sense of wonder.
Since childhood I have been fascinated by sounds.. patterns…patterns impossible to draw, mysteries beyond description. Music is a mystery to me. What is music? It could be a map over unknown lands… or even the terrain itself. It could be the winding path that guide our lost selves home… or the path that guide us lost… so that we can find something worth finding… It can be the language in which we communicate with the Innerdimensional, even the language of Gods. We do not know the nature of music, still it moves us, deeply unpredictably. It connects us with the ineffable and open portals within, worlds within worlds… It can even be completely shallow and meaningless, empty and void of meaning.
The songs I create could be seen as maps for the traveler of the unknown… maybe not useful maps in a traditional sense, but hopefully treasure maps… or maybe irrational maps that may not help you to get were you were supposed to go, but instead guide you totally lost… and suddenly, you stumble upon something completely unexpected, new and wonderful! I have been refining the art of making music that bends the mind and senses for years… it is my mission, my vision and my sacred purpose.
I aim at something beyond the contemporary concepts of “psychedelic”. Psychoactive music should be a more appropriate description.
